Charlie Kilmain

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Coach Kilmain started his coaching journey when he was just 14 years old. He first began coaching as part of his community service hours for confirmation. From there his passion for the game and all the behind the scenes work multiplied. Coach Kilmain has been lucky enough to work with all ages of youth players, truly giving him such a unique perspective into the game. In 1997 he started coaching for Braintree Youth when his eldest daughter Kylie entered the program. As his daughters Kate And Nora came up through the system, Coach Kilmain got into travel and then club soccer. From 2012 thru 2018, Coach Kilmain started with America FC on the girls side coaching groups from U11 thru U19. In 2018, he started wearing the Commonwealth FC colors, continuing the development and fostering that love for the game. In 2019 he was part of the Braintree Travel U-19 team who won the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions.

Coach Kilmain has been actively involved in staying current and learning the ever evolving game with courses and licenses from the United Soccer Coaches, USSF, and NFHS.  He holds the National C license and Advanced National Diploma, and just recently completed the High school workshop at Gillette.

Coach Kilmain has been coaching at the high school level since 2015, when he started with the Quincy High School Presidents girls team and since 2020, has been the varsity boys coach at North Quincy High School.
