Gary Burke

Coach Gary Burke is a CFC club owner and currently serves  as the Club Director and Staff Coach.

He has now been Coaching Varsity High School soccer for over 30 years and is credited for rebuilding Westwood and Braintree High school boys programs and presently is at the helm of the Archbishop Williams girls soccer program.

He has coached all levels of teams and ages from TOTS, to youth soccer programs, to professional players in the PDL with the Boston Rams.

As a High school Coach he has received EMSCA South coach of the year honors twice and Boston Globe Div 1 Coach of the year  making him the first to be selected as both a player and Coach representing the same school (Braintree). 

Coach Burke played Varsity soccer for 3 years at Braintree High School where he served as Captain and Team MVP. As a two-time Bay State League leading goal scorer, he earned back to back all league and scholastic accolades. His senior year he was selected as an All-State and All New England player as well as a Boston Globe All-Scholastic.

Coach Burke went on to be a 2 year captain at nationally ranked Salem State, where he was named  to the league’s All Conference Team.

He has USSF, NFHS, and USC diplomas and licenses and continues his on-going education attending National Conventions, seminars and trainings.

Coach Burke holds a United Soccer Coaches National Diploma as well as specialized licenses in professional Tactics , special topics, 11 v 11, 7 v 7 and 4 v 4 diplomas.
